Centenary Remembrance Day - 11th November 2018
In common with the rest of the country, Croxley Green decided that this year, the centenary of the Armistice should be marked in a special way. As well as reflecting on the sadness and loss, there should be hope for peace and stability in the world today.
Croxley Green Parish Council, the co-ordinator for the Remembrance Parade for the past thirty years, as well as residents, made preparations.
Earlier in the month the Parish Rangers attached 100 extra large poppies to many of the lamp posts of New Road, Yorke Road and Dickinson Square, as well as The Green and the Scots Hill area. One hundred years ago, these were the main roads of the village.
